Rescue 1122 organizes Training Course for Disaster Response

The Punjab Emergency Service (Rescue 1122) has organized second pilot Training Course of Community Action for Disaster Response (CADRE) in Pakistan on Thursday. The Course was organized for the Community of Shahdara Lahore in collaboration with Asian Disaster Preparedness Centre (ADPC), Bangkok, NDMA and USAID. The CADRE trainings have also been conducted in Bangladesh, Cambodia, India, Laos, Indonesia, Nepal, Philippines and Vietnam. The training contents of this course include as Common Community Hazards, Family needs, Prioritizing patients in Disasters, Basic First Aid, Search and Rescue and Fire Safety.
