Shahbaz Sharif demands mid-term elections

Lahore : Opposition leader in National Assembly Shahbaz Sharif has demanded mid-term elections to pull out the country from the crisis.He said the inefficient and ineligible PTI government has destroyed the country’s economy , Dollar is empowering against Pak Rs day by day , GDP has fallen ,price hike has made the common man life miserable . In these circumstances the only solution to put the country again on the road of development and prosperity is a fresh elections , he maintained .

Shahbaz Sharif also announced to quit chairmanship of PAC and membership of other parliamentary committees.

Shahbaz Sharif fresh stance support the narrative of his elder brother and imprisoned former prime minister Nawaz Sharif who was against any dialogue with the government.

Meanwhile ; Special Assistant to Prime Minister Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan on Sunday said it was strange that those supporting completion of full term during their own rule were now talking about mid-term elections.
