Lahore : DIG Ops Ashfaq Ahmad Khan has suspended SHO Lyton Road inspector Saif Ullah Khan Niazi for chitroling a youth and transferred him to police lines .
The DIG made these orders on the inquiry report of SP Civil Lines Safdar Raza Kazmi.
The Lahore Police top brass did not take any action for 24 hours even after the notice of IGP but when media reported that Lahore police did not care even about the directions of IG Capt (R) Arif Nawaz than the DIG ops issued orders of inquiry and suspended the SHO as an eyewash and averted to register a criminal case against the cops under 155 C police order so no other officer could dare to misuse his powers and authority .
