Drug Peddler martyred a cop in Shahdara

Lahore : Drug Peddler has shot to death a cop HC Rana Ashfaq in Shahdara. The victim was member of Punjab Constabulary and was serving at IGP Punjab office.

It was reported that Rana Ashfaq was passing by Masjid Bilal in Jia Mosa ,Shahdara when unidentified armed personnel opened fire on him and left the scene after ensuring his death.

Police reached the venue when there only body of the martyred cop remained. Shahdara police started investigation and get to know that Rana Ashfaq was shot down by drug peddler Abid Khan who had doubt that Ashfaq tip off local police for his arrest.
