Lahore : Provincial Minister for Industry & Trade Mian Aslam Iqbal has said that agenda of PTI government is to streamline the economy of the country on modern lines through solid measures and by promoting trade and economic activities. Industrialists and traders should also play a very significant role in this regard. Government is determined to provide all out facilities to industrialists and traders.
Provincial Minister expressed these views while addressing to oath taking ceremony of Pakistan Traders Alliance at Al-Raheem Garden today. A large number of traders and industrialists were present on this occasion.
Provincial Minister has said that Punjab government has taken unprecedented steps for ease of doing business, inspector-less regime is being introduced. He said that every necessary steps is being taken for the promotion of industries in the province. Punjab government is also introducing Punjab Smart Regulations Act which will help to eliminate obsolete regulation process. It will encourage industrialists, traders and investors and this act will be useful to ease business process.
He said that SMEs play an important role for the progress of any country therefore, Punjab government has made a plan to promote SMEs and cottage industry through loaning programme.
Provincial Minister also took oath from the elected office-bearers of Pakistan Traders Alliance. Traders and industrialists said that Punjab government is moving in right direction to enhance investment in Punjab.
