LHC suspended Hanif Abbasi sentence ,ordered to release him

Lahore : Mr Justice Aliya Neelum has accepted the petition of PML-N leader Hanif Abbasi for the suspension of life imprisonment and ordered to release him on bail.

The Lahore High Court division bench headed by justice Aliya Neelum heard the petition.Hanif Abbasi lawyer Azam Nazir Tarar pointed out 8 flaws and stated that 8 accused in Efiderian case were trialled and only his client was sentenced with stating any solid ground.

He also informed the court that Hanif Abbasi is a heart patient and is under treatment in the hospital.

Statecouncil pleaded that court verdict was justified the accused should not given relief.

Hanif Abbasi was shifted to Sheikh Zaid Hospital from camp jail for treatment 10 days before.

Hanif Abbasi would be released as the court process completed.
