Government facing challenges in economic sector : Fawad Ch

Lahore : Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain on Wednesday said the government was committed to provide relief to masses.

Talking to a private news channel, he said the government was striving to make Pakistan a prosperous state where people could enjoy better life facilities.

The minister said the law and order situation had improved and the country was moving on the path of speedy progress, adding steps had also been taken to reduce imports and increase exports for strengthening the economy.

Commenting on the cases of Asif Ali Zardari and Nawaz
Sharif, he said the cases being faced by both the leaders were not registered in the PTI’s government.

Replying to a question, Chaudhry Fawad stated that Prime Minister Imran Khan had zero tolerance against corruption. He said those found involved in corruption activities would have to face punishment as per law.

The minister said PPP and PML-N during their previous
tenures did not focus on improving the economy.

He said Ishaq Dar had controlled the dollar artificially, due to which the incumbent government was facing challenges in economic sector.

Expressing satisfaction over the performance of the PTI
government, he said not a single corruption case of the government was reported anywhere in the country.

Replying to a question about amnesty scheme, he said
everyone should take benefit from this scheme.

The federal minister said the PTI government had launched ‘Ehsaas’ and ‘Kafalat’  programme to alleviate poverty in the country.
