Punjab government providing best medical treatment to Nawaz Sharif : Dr Yasmin Rashid ,Dr Shahbaz Gill

Lahore : Provincial Minister for Health Dr. Yasmeen Rashid has said that PML-N and peoples party are doing politics on the health of Nawaz Sharif. She said that international standard cardiac treatment facilities are available in Punjab Institute of Cardiology and Rawalpindi Institute of Cardiology for the treatment of Nawaz Sharif.

These views were expressed by provincial minister for health and spokesperson to CM Punjab Shahbaz Gill during a press conference at 90 Shahrah-e-Quaid-e-Azam today.

Dr. Yasmeen Rashid said that medicines of angina, sugar and blood pressure have been given to Nawaz Sharif according to the recommendations of the most senior cardiologists of Punjab and personal physician of Nawaz Sharif Dr. Adnan. She said that the claim of Maryam Nawaz that her father is not being looked after properly is just a political statement.

On this occasion, Shahbaz gill said that Nawaz Sharif was told by senior doctors of Punjab during the meeting took place yesterday with the former prime minister that international standard machinery and senior doctors are available in PIC and RIC.

In response to Khursheed Shah’s statement, they said there only one doctor for 3500 people in Sindh whereas 40 percent of children and 60 percent of women are suffering from food deficiency.

They said more than 500 children lost their lives in Thar during last year due to the food deficiency and non-availability of proper healthcare facilities. They said that statements of Khursheed Shah are not like a seasoned politician and he should give attention to the provision of basic facilities to the people of Sindh before doing politics on the health of Nawaz Sharif.
