Siraj ul Haq address a grand Ulema convention at Mansoora

Lahore : Addressing a grand Ulema convention at Mansoora, the Ameer, Jamaat e Islami, Pakistan,  Senator Sirajul Haq has said that the only way for Indian Prime Minister  Modi to save India was to pull out Indian forces from Kashmir and let the Kashmiris live freely. 

He said that a minor miscalculation in this scenario could lead the entire sub continent into total destruction.

A joint declaration adopted at the Khatamun Nabiyeen  Ulema Convention called upon the government to enforce the Islamic system in the country as it was the best guarantee of a prosperous Pakistan.

It noted that peace, prosperity and development in the country would come only with the introduction of the Islamic economic system and not through begging and interest-based loans.

Maulana Fale Rahim of the Jamia Ashrafia and Maulana Abdul Malik, Liaqat Baloch, Abdul Ghaffar Aziz and Amirul Azeem also addressed the moot.

Sirajul Haq said that the constitution of Pakistan was Islamic in character but the Islamic system had not been enforced in the country for a single day.

The convention demanded immediate abolition of interest as it was tantamount to war against Allah and His Prophet. It also called for stopping propaganda against Islamic signs, mosques and madrissah.

The JI chief said that the enemy was afraid of the increasing strength,  especially population of the Muslims and was making plans to curtail the Muslim population. He said that the Muslim rulers were mental slaves of  the enemy forces and were blindly following the enemy dictation.

The moot called upon the government to immediately ban the activities of the Qadyanis and their removal from key posts in the country.

The convention stressed upon the government to fully protect the Namoos e Risalat. It warned the government against tampering with article 296- c of the constitution. It declared that each and every Pakistani, young or old, male or female, educated or illiterate, would safeguard the Namoos of the Holy Prophet at the cost of his her life.               

The declaration said that the Jews and Christians could never be friends of Muslims. Therefore, friendly ties as well as trade and diplomatic relations with them should be wound up. It also demanded snapping all types of relations with Israel.                                                                           

The convention called upon India to stop the bloodletting of the Kashmiris and hurling threat s to this country.  It also impressed upon the government, the judiciary and eh armed forces as also the media discharge their responsibilities in the best possible manner. It called for stoppage of presentation of obscene and nude scenes on the media.          

The convention appealed to the Ulema, Imams and khatibs of the mosques to realize their responsibilities for creating an awakening in the Ummah and forging unity in their ranks in order to foil the conspiracies against the Muslim world.  

The Convention impressed upon the PTI government to fulfill its promise of building the country on the model of the state of Madina.  It noted that Hajj, an important religious obligation, had been made difficult and its expenses had been increased. The moot called upon the government to simplify the Hajj procedure and cut down its expenses
