Sahiwal Tragedy ; Punjab Government transfers top brass of police

Lahore : Punjab Government has transferred top brass of police held responsible in JIT report about Sahiwal Tragedy.

According to the notification ; Additional IG CTD Rai Tahir has been removed and additional charge of the post given to Additional IG Welfare & Finance Rao Sardar Ali Khan , Additional IG ops Azhar Hameed Khokhar services have been surrendered to federal govt ,AIG PHP Ahmad Ishaq Jahangir has been given additional charge of AIG ops Punjab , DIG IT Zulfiqar Hameed given additional charge of AIG D & I vice Azhar Hameed Khokhar already transferred ,DIG CTD Babar Sarfraz Alpa has been transferred and his services surrendered to federal govt with immediate effect, Humayun Basheer Tarar has been appointed as DIG CTD.
