Nawaz Sharif will take music class in jail and Zardari will teach dance : Fayaz Chohan

Lahore : Punjab Information Minister Fayaz-ul-Hassan Chohan has said that putting names of 172 persons on Exit Control List is the real portrayal of the character of 40 thieves and the PTI government acting as Ali Baba would bring Zardari and Sharif families to justice. He said that Nawaz Sharif will take music class in jail and Zardari will teach dance.

He was addressing a press conference at Islamia University Bahawalpur lawn after the provincial cabinet meeting here on Saturday.

He said that in PML-N’s government, Nawaz Sharif and Asif Zardari were fighting like quails to befool the masses, but in reality they were acting in connivance. He said now in Ali Baba’s tenure, the corrupt and thieves would not be spared and they would not be given any deal.

He said the thieves have lost their senses. Giving details about the agenda of the cabinet meeting in Bahawalpur, the minister said that it has been decided in the meeting that salary of doctors posted in remote areas would be increased.

He said that it has also been decided that 279 ventilators and beds for ICUs would be provided in the hospitals across the province. He said the meeting also approved that ad hoc assistant professors of medical colleges of DG Khan and Sialkot would be made permanent. He said that final approval has been given to set up Punjab Water Council to be headed by Chief Minister Usman Buzdar and a water policy has also been approved to ensure correct use of water reservoirs, building of new reservoirs, dams and management of water distribution.

He said that the meeting has approved appointment of vice chancellor of the Cholistan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Bahawalpur. He said that recruitment policy for seven different social welfare department projects has been reviewed and fresh recruitments to be made in these projects. A three percent quota for disabled would be ensured. He said the ban on recruitment policy has been relaxed for these projects.

He said that a Punjab Uniform Transport Policy has been approved allowing government officers and ministers to use official vehicles as per their post and privilege which will ensure rightful distribution of resources.

He said that key matters under Punjab Power Development Board Act 2011 have been approved. He said that a policy to employ local labour in CPEC projects has been approved and foreign investment companies would be bound to employ 100pc local skilled labour in phases.

He said that Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar gives equal importance to all cities and the purpose of holding cabinet meeting in Bahawalpur is to give impotence to south Punjab, especially Bahawalpur. He said that no government in the past took action against mafias.

He said Chief Minister Usman Buzdar has tightened noose around sicilian, land and underworld corrupt mafias and the day is not far when everyone would have equal opportunities to prosper and rule of law will prevail.
