Ali Raza Abidi assassinated at the doorstep of his home

Lahore : MQM’s leader Ali Raza Abidi has been assassinated at the doorstep of his home. His father Ikhlaq Abidi also got bullet injuries in deadly attack but he was lucky enough to survive.

Media reported that former MNA Ali Raza Abidi as came out of his residence , some unknown armed personnel started firing on him as his father come to rescue him ,he also got bullets. Despite injuries , he took Ali Raza to hospital but he succumbed to injuries.

Ali Raza Abidi was a very vocal voice on social media and a strong critic of social and political injustice .

Prime Minister Imran Khan ,Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto , CM Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah ,Punjab CM Usman Buzdar ,Dr Farooq Sattar , Senator Farhatullah Babar and others have condemned this barbaric act and demanded justice for the victim family.

Dr Farooq Sattar said that Ali Raza Abidi was being threatened and he received a threat 4 days before.

IG Sindh Dr Syed Kaleem Imam has said that killers would be arrested soon with the help of CCTV footage.
