NAB court sentenced Nawaz Sharif in Al-Azizia case

Lahore : The NAB court has sentenced Nawaz Sharif in Al-Azizia case and acquitted in Flagship case.The court in its verdict said that there was ample evidence against the former premier and nothing in Flagship case. Judge Muhammad Arshad announced punishment of 7 years prison and fine of 2.5 millions $,1.5millions£.

Nawaz Sharif was arrested by NAB from ciurt soon after the judge announced verdict.

Nawaz Sharif requested the court that he may be sent to Kot Lakhpat jail Lahore which was accepted by the court.

Nawaz Sharif would not be eligible to hold any public office for ten years.

The court declared Hassan and Hussain Nawaz absconders in the case.

Nawaz Sharif said that he did nothing wrong , served the nation and country with honesty. He is satisfied with peaceful heart.

NAB prosecutor announced to challenge judgement in Flagship case whereas Nawaz Sharif lawyer will challenge the judgement of Al-Azizia case.

PML-N leaders and workers have rejected the judgement and held processions throughout the country.
