North Cantt police arrest a gang of fake NAB officers

Lahore : North Cantt police have arrested a gang of fake NAB officers which has looted many businessmen and also took ransom after kidnapping the rich people. Police has recovered Rs millions from the custody of the accused and also illegal weapons too.

A FIR has been registered against the culprits and investigation is underway, more thrilling revelations expected.

It was told that SP Cantt Malik Asif Amin Awan constituted a special team led by DSP North Cantt Ishtiaq Khan for the arrest of the gang which showed them some time as Army Officers and some time a Team of National Accountability Bureau, kidnapped businessmen,took ransom and release them.

The DSP on the receipt of info about the gang ,constituted a raiding party comprising SHO North Cantt Javaid Siddiq and Incharge investigation Inspector Nasir Baig which arrested the accused in a successful raid including their ring leader Sarfraz Khan alias Awais. 5 serving cops including ASI Tasleem , Ali Raza ,Muhammad Ali  ,Naeem were also in the gang .

The accused were investigated on the info of killing 2 people too.
