Lahore : Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar has taken notice of torture on a lady tourist in GPO Chowk , Murree by 4 members of Hotel mafia.
The CM sought report from IGP and directed him thorough investigation of the incident and justice for victim family . He ordered immediate arrest of the accused and suspended incharge choki ,Moharar.
The lady came to Murree with her family on a visit and was severely beaten by 4 members of hotel mafia lying her on ground at GPO chowk.
She cried for help to crowd but none listen to her. Later ,she went to police choki but they refused to register FIR and take action against the accused.
The helpless family recorded their grief on mobile and as the video become viral , media broadcast the news and state machinery awakened.
Murree had become a horrible place for tourists as uncountable events of torture ,misbehave , looting were registered in last 2 years.
A campaign of boycott Murree was also run over the year and government had to come forward to help the industry by assuring security and safe environment to the tourists.
