Motorway Police recover narcotics from a car near Gojra Interchange

Lahore : Officers of National Highways & Motorway Police recovered huge quantity of narcotics from a car at Motorway near Gojra Interchange.

As per details, a white Premio car was heading towards Gojra Toll Plaza when its driver observed the presence of Motorway Police and Anti Narcotics Force there.

Upon seeing the officers, the drivers tuned his car back and started driving one way on main carriageway. After covering some distance on wrong side of the road, the driver left the car and fled away.

The car was search by the officers of Motorway police SPO Hasnat Ali and SPO Farrukh Nawaz who managed to recovered 20 packets of Chars and 15 packets of Opium from the chamber beneath front seat.

Short while the officers of Anti Narcotics Force also reached the spot. Recovered narcotics and car was handed over the officers of ANF for further legal action.

Inspector General National Highways & Motorway Police Allah Dino Khawaja appreciated the good performance of officers and announced cash reward and commendation certificates for them.
