Solid Waste Management surprized Aleem Khan during his surprize visit

Lahore : Solid Waste Management has surprized senior minister Aleem Khan during his surprize visit of the city to monitor the cleanliness . Where ever Aleem Khan reached ,Solid waste management officials were there to welcome him which did not surprize the senior minister but media men really upset to see the different type of surprize visit of Aleem Khan.

Senior Minister Punjab Abdul Aleem Khan took media with him to paid a surprize visit of different areas of Lahore City to inspect the cleanliness work.

After completion of 2 days’ deadline Senior Minister instead of visiting posh areas went to Gari Shahu, Bohar Wala Chowk, Railway Station, Circular Road, Allama Iqbal Road, Sheranwala Gate, Lari Adda and Minar-e-Pakistan areas and took notice of the situation where people apprised him that visible improvement has been witnessed.

Talking to media, Senior Minister Punjab Abdul Aleem Khan said that he has visited many areas and got reports also and more than 50 per cent success has been achieved.

Abdul Aleem Khan questioned that if after his action the job has been done in 48 hours why the cleanliness work was pending from 48 days. He said that every day he is collecting reports from his own media team and not relying on the government data.

Senior Minister told that today everywhere sweepers are working and garbage is being collected and shifted in time. He said that heavy amount of 1.25 billion rupees being spent every month while more than 16000 employees working for this task.

He announced that soon he would be visiting Gujranwala, Faisalabad and Multan and other cities to inspect on ground situation of cleanliness in other cities of Punjab and no stone would be left unturned to ensure 100 per cent results in this regard.

Senior Minister categorically said that no ghost employee will be tolerated and as per the promise of Prime Minister Imran Khan clean and green environment would be provided to everyone.

Senior Minister took a round from Qaddafi Stadium to Minar-e-Pakistan and enquired from the citizen about their feedback on cleanliness work.

Operation Senior Head of Albarak Usman Noori also met Senior Minister Abdul Aleem Khan apprised him that his company would try level best to come up to the expectations and every step will be taken to ensure in time and complete cleanliness in each area of Lahore City.

MD Solid Waste Management Farrukh Qayyum Butt, GM Operations Sohail Anwar Malik and Head of Communication Jamil Khawar also briefed Senior Minister Punjab Abdul Aleem Khan on the arrangements made so far and assured that the pace would further improve in the coming days.
