Lahore : A delegation of consultative council for governance led by its convener Dr. Salman Shah met with punjab chief minister Sardar Usman Buzdar at his office here today. During the meeting, different proposals came under discussion including improvement in governance model, provision of better facilities to the people, creation of new job opportunities for the youth and introduction of departmental reforms.
The chief minister said that PTI government wants to provide necessary relief along with improvement facilities to the masses. You are an expert in your respective field and we will benefit from your vast expertise. We want to realize the people about the change that has been introduced through public mandate. People will get more facilities if governance is improved, he said.
We will work for providing better facilities to the people with your consultation and reforms will be introduced well in time wherever required. Comprehensive strategy will be used to create new job opportunities, he added. We all will work jointly to make a new Pakistan and the commitment made by me will be fulfilled. Now practical steps will be taken and long, medium and short term policies will be introduced for improving different sectors. Different steps will be taken with speed with your consultation, he added. The council members said that we will work for bringing improvements for the people.
Provincial ministers, secretary to CM, secretary coordination and other high officials were also present on the occasion.
