Capt (R) Muhammad Usman appointed as DG Food Punjab

Lahore : Former DCO Lahore Capt (R) Muhammad Usman has been appointed as Director General Food Authority .A notification has been issued in this regard.

He had faced inquiry upon wasting of public money while posted at clean water company.

Capt ( R) Muhammad Usman is a dynamic and result oriented Civil Officer, with over 27 years of experience in Civil Bureaucracy and Military . Captain Usman’s core competencies lie in the fields of Strategic Management, Administrative Leadership, Stakeholder-engagement, Conflict-resolution, Change Management, and Government Relationships.

His exposure due to job-rotation and job-enrichment in the Civil Services has equipped him with valuable capacity to deal with scenarios involving multiple stakeholders and dimensions.

Captain Usman’s portfolio is made up of successful achievements in each position, testifying his ability to achieve targets over-and-above expectations.

Captain Usman holds a Double Mathematics and Physics (BSc.) from Pak Military Aid. He is proficient in Urdu, Punjabi, English, Sindhi and Saraeki as well as being proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Social-media operation. Captain Usman has attended a Mid-Career Management course for 4 months and a Senior Management course for 4 and a half months. He has also participated in the 27th Common Training Program (CTP) for 1 year, and the 22nd Specialized Program for 1 year.

Over the years, Captain (Retd.) Muhammad Usman has worked in diverse and crucial scenarios, allowing him to develop commendable abilities to perform under pressure, meet stringent deadlines, and acclimatize well with new working environments. In addition to leading strategically in a resolute manner, he looks forward to Innovate and Create value at work. Through Stakeholder-Engagement at macro level for 27+ years, Captain Usman has inculcated in himself the spirit to be inclusive while considering strategic decisions.
