Imran Khan files petition in Supreme court to stop recounting in NA-131

Lahore : Chairman PTI Imran Khan has filed petition in Supreme court through his council Babar Awan to stop recounting in NA -131. He was of the view that he won the election by getting 84 thousand plus votes. His opponent Kh Saad Rafiq first pleaded to count and reassess the discarded votes but result remained the same so recounting of all the votes nothing except the waste of time.

Meanwhile; Kh Saad Rafiq has tweeted that recounting has been started after the verdict of Lahore High Court and expressed hope that PML-N would get back it’s seat.
