Motorways Police is an icon of excellence : Amir Zulfiqar Khan

Lahore : Muhammed Aamir Zulfiqar khan Inspector General National Highways & Motorway Police while addressing open house meeting in motorway police training college with officers said that this department will work day and night to improve its professional performance and standards par excellence. This department is an icon of excellence and we have to maintain this highest achievement with all available resources. Motorway Police is public friendly, service-oriented force and delivery of prompt assistance to the distressed road users is the trademark of the department and it is only big distinction with other police organizations. The well-mannered conduct with commuters, courtesy and indiscriminate enforcement of law must be ensured to enhance the image of NH&MP. DIG Ahmad Arslan Malik, DIG Mirza Faran Baig, DIG Ashfaq Khan, SSP Masroor Alam Kolachi , SSP Sulman , SSP Hashmat Kamal , officers and officials of NH&MP were also present on the occasion.

Inspector General Muhammed Aamir Zulfiqar Khan said that the good name and fame of this department is big asset and we have to keep it at all cost. It is indeed a matter of pride to command this force he further told. He asked the officers to produced best possible results with limited available recourses through professional approach. IG Muahmmed Aamir Zulfiqar khan said that by scientific and modern approach, best and wonderful results can be obtained with meager resources. He further said that we will make all out efforts to further improve training quality of NH&MP officers. The problems and issues of motorway police officers would be resolved on top priority, IG further added. He said that we will preserve respect and prestige of our officers at every cost. Condemning Gojra incident, IG said that he will try his best to ensure maximum punishment under the law to the culprits.

Muahmmed Aamir Zulfiqar Khan said this is the only department of spectacular traditions upon which every Pakistani is proud and it is our prime responsibility to conserve the stateliness and honor of this department at every cost and with all means. He said we will further raise the faith and confidence of the people which is the hall mark of this organization.

IG Muahmmed Aamir Zulfiqar Khan said that female officers have played a pivotal role in the success of this department. IG also listened to the problems of officers and issued necessary directions for the redress.
