Appellate Tribunal decides appeals on last day

Lahore : The Appealet Tribunal has decided the appeals of many candidates on its last day of hearing.

The tribunal permitted a few candidates to contest elections and rejected appeals of some candidates belonging to PML-N.

The Appellate Court dismissed the appeal of former minister of state Abid Sher Ali’s brother Imran Sher Ali to contest elections from PP117 thus he would not be able to contest in elections

JUP’s candidate Faiz Mehmood is allowed to contest elections.

PPP candidate from NA-113 Toba tek Singh Haider Ali Kharal was not permitted to contest elections by dismissing his appeal,Molana Rehmat Ullah from PP-95 Chiniot appeal against RO decision to reject papers was also dismissed.

Former federal minister from NA – 87 Hafizabad allowed to contest elections , Asif Ashraf Jalali allowed to contest elections from NA – 81 , Ijaz Cheema from NA – 75 Daska , Nasir Cheema from PP- 53 Gujranwala, Gulam Ahmad Gadi from PP-124 , Ch Zahid Mehmood from PP-107 , Nadeem Aftab Sindhu from PP-109 ,Malik Munir from PP44 were allowed to contest elections.
