Shahbaz Sharif address a large public gathering in Mardan

Lahore : President of PML-N Shahbaz Sharif has said that Pakistan is the name of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh, Balochistan, Punjab, Azad Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan. The country will progress when all of its federating units will progress. The PML-N government has worked day and night for the progress and development of the country for the last five years, while Imran Khan Niazi has wasted the precious time of the nation through politics of sit-ins and lies. Shahbaz Sharif expressed these views while addressing a large public gathering in Mardan.

Shahbaz Sharif said the visit of the Chinese president to Pakistan was delayed due to the sit-in of Niazi sahib in 2014 and development projects were delayed and the country suffered immense loss.

While his sit-in benefited India and Modi because the success of Pakistan is the loss of India and defeat of India is the success of Pakistan. Niazi Sahib has tried to appease the enemy through sit-ins. Niazi sahib claimed to be a man of principles and in the Senate elections he has been exposed. Rules broke and misdeeds exposed. Zardari and Niazi have been united.

The people of Pakistan will expel Zardari and Niazi sahib from the country in the forthcoming elections.

Shahbaz Sharif said Niazi sahib had claimed that he will correct the system of hospitals and schools and in Peshawar there is only hospital Lady Reading for the decades and no new hospital has been established. When the daughter of Mardan, Asma was raped and her forensic tests were carried out in Lahore lab and we are proud of it. Lahore is your city as Mardan is mine. Lakhs of people of KPK get treatment from hospitals of Punjab. This is not a favour to them as it’s their right because Pakistan is the country of all of us. Niazi sahib had claimed to plant one billion trees in KPK, and he could not plant trees but he made the record of telling lies day and night and badly damaged the city of flowers Peshawar.

An institution of accountability was set up at the cost of 70 crore rupees, but no case of corruption has been taken up by this institution. Lands were distributed among friends in Malam Jabba and the scandal of Khyber Bank was also exposed. There is no development in KPK and its main cause is the money has been stuffed in pockets of influential people. Is this new Pakistan?

We will make the country Pakistan as dreamed by Quaid-e-Azam and Allama Iqbal. Hectic efforts were made under the leadership of Nawaz Sharif to overcome energy crisis.

In 2013 there was huge loadshedding and now the country has sufficient electricity. The PML-N has installed power project of the capacity of 5000MW from its own resources apart from the CPEC.

In KPK there are rivers, lakes and falls in Naran, Kagha and Saful Malook and thousands of Mega Watt of electricity can be produced. Khan Sahib had claimed that he will produce electricity for not only KPK, but whole of Pakistan. But he could not produce a single MW of electricity, rather he produced minus 6 MW of electricity. I promise that I will produce electricity of thousands of MW if we go the chance to form the government again.

The chief minister said Niazi sahib you are most welcome in Lahore, but you are coming in Lahore after looting KPK. For this reason the people of Lahore will not give you warm welcome. Our development projects will welcome you.

He said if you did not hold sit-in in Islamabad for seven months and would have focused on KPK, then this province would also have made progress. The people would have get employment and condition of hospitals would have improved.

When dengue hit Peshawar, you were taking rest in Nathia Gali. Niazi sahib those days are gone, you have to go to Bani Gala and the PML-N will make government in KPK.

Mentioning development projects in Punjab, CM Shahbaz Sharif said we have provided scholarships worth 17 billion rupees to intelligent children from poor families. Thousands of children from poor families have become doctors and engineers after getting scholarships from the Punjab Endowment Funds.

He said we will make KPK Endowment Fund if got the chance to form the government and five lakh intelligent children from poor families will be given scholarships in five years. Teaching hospitals and universities will be set up in every division of KPK and impart skills to the youth of KPK so that they would be enabled to lead a respectable life.

He said children from poor families are getting education and all other facilities free of cost in Danish schools and these institutions are of international standards. Children from the rich families get education from institutions like Aitchison College while children from poor families are getting top quality education in Danish schools.

I announce that we will set up Danish schools in every district if we go the chance to form government. Every Pakistan has right of top quality education and we will give this right to them. This is not only a promise but we will transform these promises to realities and evidence of our public service can be witnesses in Punjab.

I will bring KPK and Peshawar at a par with Punjab and Lahore. Niazi sahib is not in senses and he takes rest in Nathia Gali. He does not know how the people in remote areas of Mardan, Kohistan and KPK are spending their lives. He said interest free loans have been given to unemployed youth under Khadim-e-Ala Rozgar Scheme. This scheme of Punjab government has benefitted two crore people. Roads of thousands of kilometres have been made from fields to markets at the cost of Rs 100 billion.

He said if we go the chance to serve the people, the KPK will be the fastest progressing province in five years and it will make speedy progress like Punjab. He said we will support any government in KPK, except for PTI.

He said we made exemplary measures for uplift of agriculture sector and prosperity of farmers in Punjab. Fertilizer has been given to farmers at the half price. Interest free loans have been given to small farmers. Subsidy on electricity bills have been given for tube wells. In the 70 year history of the country, such measures have never been taken.

He said I promise that all projects of Punjab will be launched in every tehsil and district of KPK if we go the change to form government and this will start development in this area and the people will get jobs. He said the people of KPK are brave, honest and courageous and I salute them.

PML-N KPK chapter president Amir Muqam, addressing the gathering, said public service achievements of Shahbaz Sharif are in front of everybody. He said KPK needs development model of Punjab which has been formed by Shehbaz Sharif.

He said we have to support PML-N if we want Punjab-like development in education, health, and infrastructure sectors and we have to make the looters of PTI to run away from KPK.

Deputy Speaker National Assembly Javed Abbasi, PML-N leader Sardar Mehtab Abbasi, KPK office-bearers of PML-N and workers were present in large numbers.

Earlier, when President PML-N Shahbaz Sharif reached the airport he was welcomed by Governor Iqbal Zafar Jhagra, PML-N KPK chapter president Amir Muqam, PML-N leader Sardar Mehtab Abbasi and other party leaders .
