Dialogue among institutions is needed to move the country forward : Shahbaz Sharif

Lahore : President of PML-N and Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif held a meeting with anchorpersons, columnists and media representatives at Governor’s House, Karachi.

Speaking on the occasion, CM Shahbaz Sharif said Sindh played a vital role in the creation of Pakistan and Karachi is the backbone of the economy of Pakistan. Karachi is the heart of Pakistan and credit for the peace in Karachi goes to PML-N government. Normal life has returned to Karachi due to joint efforts of political and military leadership. New services should be launched for better transportation in Karachi.

He said there should be a comprehensive plan for resolution of water crisis, transportation, infrastructure and solid waste management. Progress in one province and lack of development in other provinces is dangerous for the country and it creates rumours and misunderstandings are generated.

He said we are Pakistanis first of all and we should promote this thinking. I will soon visit interior Sindh. He said we have completed energy project in a transparent manner. He said functioning of institutions ensures the progress of the country and dialogue is needed to move the country forward and confrontation should be avoided.

He said the history of 70 years is in front of us and there should be better coordination among all institutions. Dialogue should be carried out among institutions to decide national agenda and stakeholders should be included in this dialogue. He said the people have given popularity to the PML-N.
