The dacoits on rampage in Mandi Bahauddin

Mandi Bahauddin (Sher Gondal) : The dacoits, the other night broke in the house of Ansar Gondal in Bohat village in precincts of Civil Line Police and swiped away with cash amounting to Rs .6 million, valuables and licensed arms.

After larceny, the dacoits put the house on fire that engulfed the entire house and burnt the house hold and valuables to ashes.

The criminals then fled away with the booty safely, without facing any resistance from the locals. The village dwellers on self-help basis controlled the fire and informed police on police helpline ‘15’.

The SHO with police party reached the place of incident and completed legal formalities. The owner of the house Ansar Gondal, at the time of incident was admitted in DHQ Hospital Mandi Bahauddin for treatment and surgical operation of appendix.
