DIG Mirza Faran Baig ask the students to follow traffic rules

Lahore : Motorway Police, Central Zone have arranged road safety awareness seminar for the children of Allied School, Jubilee Town, Lahore.

DIG Motorway Police Mirza Faran Baig ,  director Allied School Muhammed Iftikar , school staff, parents , motorway police officer and students were the present on the occasion.

The student were given briefing with the help of multi-media projector regarding road crossing, safety helmet, lane usage, seat belt , hazards of over speeding, driving during adverse weather conditions and other tips of road safety. The students were asked to follow traffic rules, as civilized nations are known by their discipline on roads.

While addressing the seminar Zonal Commander/ DIG Mirza Faran Baig said that we are unaware of road sense as a nation while the absence of 3-Es—-Education, Law Enforcement & Engineering—-especially law enforcement and road user’s behavior being the major stakeholder, were causing accidents on roads.

He said Children & youth prime focus of National Highways and Motorway Police and this department is making positive efforts for them to make familiar with traffic rules and regulations.

On this occasion, Director Allied School Muhammad Iftikhar Hussain has appreciated the role of motorway police in road safety in our society.

On this occasion, he also thanked the IG Motorway Police Dr. Syed Kaleem Imam for arranging awareness valuable session for school students and staff. Mobile Education Unit has also arranged road safety quiz competition among the students and distributed gifts hamper among the successful students.
