City division arrest accused of double murder

Lahore : SSP Investigation Mubashar Maken has claimed that City division police have successfully arrested the accused who were involved in the case of double murder and wanted by police in number of dacoities.

Addressing the press conference at Investigation Head Quarter flanked by SP Syed Karar Hussain, SSP Mubashar Maken said the accused Qasim Gujjar and Afnan alias Bhola had gin downed two vendors Awal Khan and Zia ur Rehman after exchange of hot words over pity issue at Circular Road and fled away.

Incharge investigation Shafiqabad Inspector Imtiaz Hussain and Inspector Danish Ranjha managed to get CCTV footage of crime scene from Safe City Authority which clearly showed the accused and later nabbed them with source info.

The accused have confessed to do dacoities in Sheikhupura , Ferozewala , Islampura , Factory Area , Badami Bagh and other areas. SSP investigation has announced commendatory certificates for the SP Karar Hussain and other members of police team.
