Deputy Ambassador of Netherlands Josephine Frantzen met Khalil Tahir Sandhu

Lahore : A delegation led by Deputy Ambassador of Netherlands to Pakistan Josephine Frantzen met Punjab Minister for HR&MA Khalil Tahir Sandhu on Thursday at his camp office. Matters of mutual interests were discussed in details. The delegation comprised on Javed William and Elaine Alam.

The Provincial Minister apprised the Netherlands Ambassador of the measures taken by Punjab government for the welfare of minorities such as allocation of five percent quota in government jobs, six month’s remission in sentences on Christmas, 20 additional marks for learning religious book by heart, setting up of minority advisory councils and educational scholarships for students.

Khalil Tahir Sandhu further informed the Netherlands delegation that Human Rights Department has promoted harmony and tolerance among youth and awareness in the people of their respective areas about the protection of human rights.

Netherlands Ambassador appreciated the measures taken by Punjab government for the protection of human rights and welfare of minorities and stressed the need for promotion of relations and cooperation between Pakistan and Netherlands in different sectors.

Minister Human Rights during media talk said that 21 Crore Pakistani will elect again PML-N due to historical journey of prosperity and Nawaz Sharif will be remained in the heart of people.
