FPCCI appoints young men as chairman of committees.

Lahore: Latent potential of youth can be harnessed by providing opportunities for growth and personal development.  Pakistan’s population reached 200 million; it is estimated that almost 31% of this population is aged between 15 to 29 years while 58 million belong to the 20 to 24 year age group. Young, Experienced and talented people are appointed as chairman of committees.

These were views of Ch. Arfan Yousaf, Regional Chairman and Vice President Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry during a special meeting organized for Committees allocation for year 2018.

Ch. Arfan Yousaf announced FPCCI will organize youth conference soon. He said creating pathways for the economic empowerment and constructive engagement of young people through informed decision making, community mobilization, and skills development is our main focus.

Iftikhar Ali Malik, Vice President SAARC CCI said only youth participation and empowerment are considered as avenues to future development for any country and society.

The event was graced by Iftikhar Ali Malik, Vice President SAARC CCI, Ch.Arfan Yousaf Regional Chairman FPCCI, Shabnam Zafar, Vice President FPCCI, Shafique Anjum, Vice President FPCC and Khawaja Khawar Senior Vice President Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

During the meeting Chairmanship Certificates were awarded.

Khawaja Khawar Rasheed was appointed as Law and Order, Mian Waqar Ahmad for Small Traders Coordination, while Kashif Anwar for Sales Tax & Inland Revenue, Riaz Ahmad for Dry Ports, Shahbaz Khan for Anti-Corruption, Agha Iftikhar Ahmad for Anti-Smuggling,Asif Ameer, for Automobile Industry,Faisal Mahmood for Automobile & Auto Spare Parts Manufacturing,Shahzad Zafar for  Auto Air-conditioning, Ms. Fatima Chadhar for Child Protection, Haji Muhammad Asif Sehar for City Liaison, Muhammad Tariq Siddique for Constructions,Mateen-ur-Rehman, for Coordination with Government Departments.
