Shahbaz Sharif suspends SP Kotwali and others on kite flying

Lahore : Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has taken strict notice of the incident of death of a youth due to stray kite twine and has suspended SP Kotwali Ahmed Mohyuddin, DSP Kotwali Saleem Mehmood Warraich and SHO Jhang Bazaar Malik Jahangir.

He has also sought a report from CPO Faisalabad and Deputy Commissioner Faisalabad.

He said that action will be initiated against police officers of the respective area where a complaint of kite flying will be received.

Shahbaz Sharif said that he will not tolerate the incidents of kite flying in any case.

Meanwhile ; Punjab Chief Minister has suspended SP Rawal Behram Khan ,DSP city Farhan Aslam and SHO city Khalid Satti on the incident of throat slit of a youth due to kite string.

He said that those who failed to implement ban on kite flying have no right to remain on their posts.
