Sports ministry jubilant on the arrival of FIFA Trophy

Lahore : Punjab’s Sports ministry is jubilant on the arrival of FIFA Trophy in Lahore . The ministry arranged a special ceremony to celebrate the moment.

Punjab Minister for Sports Jahangir Khanzada said the arrival of FIFA 2018 World Cup Trophy in Pakistan is just like a breath of fresh air.

It’s a great encouragement for our young talented football players; he said this while addressing the unveiling ceremony of FIFA 2018 World Cup Trophy at a local hotel on Saturday.

Punjab Minister for Sports Jahangir Khanzada said Pakistan has ruled in the games of cricket, squash, hockey and snooker in the past and Pakistan can earn a respectable place in football world if our players do hard work and learn modern techniques.

“Punjab govt has built 40 stadiums in the province which are laced with the facility of football,” he added.

He urged the young football players of the province to come and utilize these sporting facilities and win laurels for the motherland in international sports events.

Punjab Minister for Sports Jahangir Khanzada said FIFA World Cup is a king of cups in the world of sports. “Football is world’s most popular game and Pakistan people also have great passion in football, the most exciting game of the world,” he opined.

Secretary Sports Punjab Muhammad Amir Jan said the young football players of the country will get great inspiration from FIFA World Cup Trophy’s brief stopover in Pakistan. “It’s right time for Pakistan players to improve their football skills and win a
respectable place in international football community,” he added.
