Chinese Trade Delegation visits FPCCI regional office Lahore

Lahore : Ten Members Chinese Trade Delegation of Linyi Trade City led by Tang Junjie  Managing Director Linyi Trade City Overseas Investment Ltd visited Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) Regional Office Lahore to explore Pakistani Counterparts today.

Ch. ArfanYousaf, Regional Chairman and Vice President FPCCI said China is one of the important trade partners of Pakistan Both Countries are strongly associated together and both countries mutual relations are based on solid foundations. He said there is dire need of trade balancing between both Countries.

He highlighted various investment and joint ventures opportunities and said joint ventures with Chinese enterprises would facilitate vital transfer of technology as Pakistan direly need to upgrade value-addition process. Pakistan is rapidly growing economy, fifth largest consumer market in the world with 200 million populations while our economy is continuously flourishing in various sectors which highlights the scope of businesses. China Pakistan Economic Corridor and business friendly investment policies have turned Pakistan into a best trade and investment destination. CPEC Projects are opening new era of long lasting economic benefits to the region and beyond the region.

The project will also link China’s western regions with the Gwadar Port.

Tang Junjie, Managing Director of Linyi Trade City Overseas Investment said Linyi Trade City is capital of logistics and hub of exhibition warehouses, wholesale markets, centers, retail parks and manufacturing plants. Pakistani business community should also explore the city as thousands of companies from China and rest of the world are already operating and taking their share from the City.

Reply to a question of equal trade opportunities, he said they were already working in Gwadar on a project where they have built an exhibition Centre of 6,000 square meters, and a warehouse of 140,000 square meters. He added in the said projects Chinese and Pakistani men both are part of the workforce.

Chinese delegates appreciated role of FPCCI for economic development of the Country and said economic globalization and regional integration has provided enormous opportunities for further cooperation between China and Pakistan.

The business interests of delegates were trading of Camera control and surveillance system, Electric intelligence security fencing engineering, Lighting industry, lamps and lanterns, Switch products, Electric appliance, Solar panel , solar water heaters, Ceramics, Plywood, Marble and Hardware Products.
