Lahore General Hospital introduced different colors’ uniform for staff

Lahore : In the light of the directions of the Punjab Government, Lahore General Hospital has introduced different colors’ uniform for the 1300 employees of up to Grade IV and cadres in this regard are Ward Boy, Office Staff, Ward Aya, Security Guard and Sweepers who would be bound to wear relevant uniform.

Principal Post Graduate Medical Institute Prof. Ghais un Nabi Tayyab, talking in this context has said that this step would help in establishing discipline and it would also improve the standard of services for the patients.

According to the details all Ward Boys would wear cream off white shalwar kameez with black waist coat, black sweater, black jogger and black socks while office staff will be wearing white shalwar kameez with black waskit and black shoes & socks.

Similarly, Ward Aya would wear cream shalwar kameex, cream dupatta, black sweater and black jogger and black socks. All security guards of Lahore General Hospital would be bound to use sky blue shirt, navy blue pent, black shows, black socks, navy blue sweater, and navy blue cap with hospital monogram.

While all sweepers would be wearing navy blue shalwar kameez, yellow jacket, black sweater, black shoes and black socks. It is mentionable that all this uniform would be provided by the Lahore General Hospital and notification has also been issued in this connection.

Principal PGMI Prof. Ghias un Nabi Tayyab called it a good step towards making the environment of the hospital more friendly and congenial for the patients.

He said that Lahore General Hospital has improved a lot in the recent past and in future such steps would continue to make more changes which can upgrade the standard of the hospital.
