LGH Nurses saved a life of an oldman by buying necessary items from own pocket

Lahore : Nurses of Lahore General Hospital has set an example of helping of unknown patients as three weeks before a 60 years old person was shifted from DHQ Kasur in unconsciousness condition.

In LGH nurses provided all possible medical help and bought other necessary items from market from their own pocket. This patient remained admitted in PINS Neuro Surgery South Emergency Unit II where nurses tried to extend all possible facility from their own resources.

When this patient came in senses he was recognized as Islam and resident of Baidiaan Road, Lahore and his sons on meeting him became emotional on seeing him alive and in good health.

Other patients also witnessed that since Islam was brought to Lahore General Hospital there was no attendant but the nurses came forward and did not let him alone and provided him best medical and other help by spending funds from their own pockets.

These nurses proved that they want to serve the ailing humanity without any discrimination of creed and colour.

Director General Nursing Kausar Parveen has lauded this step of the nurses and announced to reward them on the departmental basis as they have proved themselves an asset for the Hospital.
