CM orders inquiry for detaining Assistant Commissioner in her office

Lahore : Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has taken notice of the incident of detaining lady Assistant Commissioner in office in Sargodha and ordered investigation.

The Chief Minister directed to submit a report after probing the incident from every angle and take action as per law against the responsible.

The lawyers held a female Assistant Commissioner (AC) of Sargodha hostage in her office for delaying judgment.During hearing of a case the lawyer, Walayat, insisted Assistant Commissioner Dr Anam Khan to decide the case today, however AC refused and said till the hearing of arguments from other party hearing will be continued.

The lawyers got angered over AC refusal and they vandalized her office and later held her hostage in her office by locking it.

Police reached at the spot but did not take action against lawyer until ASP Hafeez ur Rehman Bugti arrived, after long wait. On the orders of the ASP police broke the lock and recovered AC.
