ECP demands finger prints data for electronic voting in NA-120

Lahore : Election Commission of Pakistan has asked National Database and Registration Authority to provide complete data of finger prints of the voters of the National Assembly constituency NA-120 Lahore.

Radio Pakistan reported that the spokesperson of the Election Commission verified that a letter has been sent in this regard to NADRA to provide finger prints of twenty nine thousand six hundred and seven missing voters in the constituency.

The total number of registered voters in NA-120 is three hundred twenty-one thousand seven hundred and eighty-six.

The bio-metric system will be used as pilot project in bye-polls in NA-120 to be held on 17th of this month.
