Imran Khan to submit reply by September 9 : The ­Sessions Court

Lahore : The ­Sessions Court in Lahore heard the case of Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif for Rs. 10 billion damages against PTI Chief Imran Khan against his allegation of offering of billions of rupees in Panama scandal.

No reply was submitted by PTI Chief Imran Khan in Sessions Court even today. The court again issued notice to Imran Khan and sought reply by September 9.

The court of Additional Sessions Judge Azfar Sultan Abrar Syed continued the proceeding on an application of seeking damages by Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif against Imran Khan.

The court has been requested to issue degree worth Rs. 10 billion damages against Imran Khan for defaming Shahbaz Sharif. It may be mentioned that Imran Khan leveled an allegation of offer of Rs. 10 billion to him by Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif on the issue of Panama Papers.

According to the application, Imran Khan willingly tried to befool the nation by leveling allegation against Shahbaz Sharif and defamed him for the sake of political interests.
