Dr Shoaib Dastgir appointed IGP AJK

Lahore : Senior police officer of Punjab Police Dr Shoaib Dastgir has been appointed IGP Azad Jammu and Kashmir.Establishment Division has issued notification in this regard.

Additional IG Dr Shoaib Dastgir has served in Lahore as a SP Admin when his relative lieutenant General Ali Quli Khan was in service. This was his one of the key postings of his career . He had served at UN mission and was posted at CPO for many years. He had not worked as a field officer for long time and did this compulsory job only to get promotion to next grade . 

Former IGP AJK Basheer Memon has been appointed DG FIA.
