Supreme Court decision was not a conspiracy against CPEC : Siraj ul Haq

Lahore : Ameer, Jamaat e Islami, Pakistan, Senator Siraj ul Haq, has flatly rejected the argument of the ruling party ministers that the Supreme Court decision in Panama leaks case was a conspiracy against the CPEC and said this was simply incomprehensible.

Talking to the media after offering Nawafil on the court historic decision in Islamabad, he said that India and the Indian Prime Minister Modi were the biggest opponents of CPEC and were hatching conspiracies against the CPEC while Nawaz Sharif was Modi’s close friend and had been exchanging gifts to him. He said that Modi had deputed RAW agent Kulboshan for subversion in this country but Nawaz had been sending mangoes to Modi.

He said it was Nawaz Sharif who was friend of India and Modi, and none of the judges or lawyers in this country had any soft corner for India or Modi.

Siraj ul Haq said that the Panama leaks case was fought by the Pakistani lawyers and there was no Indian lawyer among them. Similarly, he said, there is no Indian judge in the apex court.

The JI chief demanded that the names of all those named in the Panama leaks, Dubai leaks, London leaks, those availing the notorious NRO and getting huge bank loans written off be included in the ECL so that they could not flee the country and had to face accountability.

The JI chief strongly objected to the remarks of the ministers terming articles 62 and 63 of the constitution as trespassing and warned that whoever tried to abolish these articles would have to face tough resistance.
