The entire government is being disqualified : Siraj ul Haq

Lahore : Ameer, Jamaat e Islami, Pakistan, Senator Siraj ul Haq, has said that Pakistan’s politics had fallen in the hands of different mafias and it was time to free it from their hold.

Talking to the JI leaders from Azad Kashmir and Sheikhupura at Mansoora on Thursday, he said that the land mafia, drug mafia and sugar mafia were controlling the country’s politics as these mafias had  taken shelter in political parties.

Siraj ul Haq further said that the ruling party had been unnerved ahead of the Supreme Court decision and seemed to be heading towards disintegration. However, he said that the court decision would determine future course of the country’s politics and would be a message of life for the future generations of the nation.

Siraj ul Haq said that hardened criminals had taken refuge in the country’s politics and political parties and the spoiled scions of the affluent families, tyrants and feudal lords were considered the heirs of country’s politics.  These elements had joined politics only to hide their crimes and to escape the law, he added.

The JI chief said that militancy had taken birth from financial terrorism which was the mother of lawlessness and chaos. He said that unless and until, the mother serpent was wiped out, the snakes would continue to be born.

He said the common man’s role in politics simply was to shout “Zindabad and Murdabad,” and also offer sacrifices to facilitate the political leaders. The ruling elite had been building properties in London, Dubai and the US while the man in the street could not make both ends meet. He said the accountability of the elite was the crying need of the hour. He said that the JI alone could liberate the masses from the clutches of these political priests.

The JI chief said that the Kashmir liberation movement would not be wound up by any order of Modi or Trump. The Kashmiris were fighting for their right of self determination guaranteed in the UN Charter.  As such, their struggle could not be termed as terrorism. He said that Syed Salahud Din was the Kashmiris’ hero and the entire Pakistani nation and the JI firmly stood by them. He stressed upon the Pakistan government to counter India’s baseless propaganda against Kashmiris.

Senator Siraj ul Haq, has said that every word of the Interior Minister Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan’s press conference indicated that not only the Prime Minister but the entire government had been disqualified even ahead of  the Supreme Court decision in Panama leaks case.

In his reaction to the Interior Minister’s press conference, the JI chief said that the entire cabinet , the government and all ministries and departments had virtually been frozen which had caused irreparable harm to the state.

However, he said, that Ch. Nisar Ali Khan should have advised the Prime Minister to step down immediately after the Panama leaks, at the call of his conscience.
