Cricketer Hassan Ali joins Traffic Police’s awareness campaign

Lahore : Chief Traffic Officer SSP Rai Ijaz Ahmad said that City Traffic Police is establishing Traffic Awareness Camps at different points to highlight the traffic laws among citizens to succeed the mission Capt. (R) Syed Ahmad Mobin. Thousands of road safety pamphlets have been distributed among citizens through these camps. Male and Female Traffic Wardens provide traffic awareness through megaphone at the Traffic Awareness Camps.

CTO expressed his views while visiting Traffic Awareness Camp installed at Faisal Chowk Mall Road along with the National Cricketer Hassan Ali. DSP Traffic Cantt. Shahzad Khan and Incharge Road Safety Unit Nazia Baqir were also present on the occasion.

Chief Traffic Officer SSP Rai Ijaz Ahmad further added that citizens must cooperate with Traffic Wardens by obeying traffic laws. Today, the purpose to distribute road safety pamphlets among citizens with the help of National Cricketer Hassan Ali is to highlight the importance of traffic laws.

Cricketer Hassan Ali is voluntarily participating in the campaign of City Traffic Police Lahore and distributing road safety pamphlets and flowers among the citizens. Today, it is extremely needed that  youngsters use helmets and seat belts and avoid over speeding and one wheeling. Shaheed Capt. (R) Syed Ahmad Mobin sacrificed his life in the line of duty for the sake of law and order. Cricketer Hassan Ali said on the occasion that today, not as an International Cricketer but a common citizen I have come to urge the citizens to follow traffic laws. They way City Traffic Police Lahore is highlighting the importance of traffic laws among citizens, is admirable. To save the lives of citizens is worship and today, I am feeling proud to be a part of City Traffic Police Awareness Campaign. The youth must follow the traffic laws strictly while driving.
