The last participant of Muslim League Lucknow meeting laid to rest

Lahore : Funeral prayer of Pakistan Movement leader and father of Pakistan Muslim League Senator Mushahid Hussain Sayed, Mowahid Hussain Shah and Mujahid Hussain Shah’s father Syed Amjad Hussain was attended by well-known political leaders as well as prominent personalities from all walks of life.

They included former Prime Minister Ch Shujat Hussain, former Deputy Prime Minister Ch Parvez Elahi, Ch Javed Elahi, Moonis Elahi and large number of party leaders, Senate Chairman Mian Raza Rabbani, National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayyaz Sadiq, former Chief Justice Lahore High Court Khawaja Sharif, Mujibur Rahman Shami, Rameeza Nizami, Afrasiab Khattak, former Punjab Governor Khalid Maqbool, Rizwan Mumtaz Ali, Liaquat Baloch, Syed Fakhar Imam, Imtiaz Eanjha, Ch Muhammad Sarwar, Qayyum Nizami, Ajmal Niazi, Hafeezullah Niazi, Zikria Butt, Mian Shehzad Tufail, Brig (R) Ejaz Shah, Ishaq Khakwani, Saeed Mehdi, Sardar Ateeq, Ch Yasin, Tasneem Noorani, Hafiz Tahir Khalil, G. M. Sikander, Parvaiz Malik, Mian Munir, Shahid Hamid, Nasrullah Dreshak, Zaeem Qadri, Raheela Qazi, Shireen Mazari, Imtiaz Rafi Butt, Zahid Iqbal, Iftikhar Malik among host of others.

Qul ceremony will be held at his residence 111-C, New Muslim Town Lahore on Thursday, June 22, at 5. 30 p.m.

Ch Shujat Hussain and Ch Parvez Elahi said that Syed Amjad Hussain, who has now departed, was the last of prominent personalities who had attended Muslim League meeting at Lucknow, may Almighty Allah bless his soul.
