Siraj ul Haq takes oath from JI Youth Lahore at Mansoora

Lahore : Ameer, Jamaat e Islami, Pakistan, Senator Sirajul Haq, has said that the differences among the brother Muslim countries and their bilateral conflicts were harmful for the Muslim Ummah and the enemies of Islam had always benefitted from such situations.

He was speaking at the oath taking ceremony of the JI Youth Lahore at Mansoora on Tuesday evening.

Sirajul Haq said there was dire need to resolve the present tension and conflicts among the Gulf countries through mutual contacts.

He appreciated the offer from Kuwait and Turkey for mediation between Saudi Arabia and Qatar to resolve the conflict and expressed the hope that the both sides would avail this opportunity. He said that only the Islam’s enemies would benefit from the policy of boycott.

Sirajul Haq said that  the eyes of the Trump administration were on the vast resources of the Muslim countries. He said that the increasing interference of the Trump administration in the Gulf was an alarm bell and it must be effectively checked. He said that actually the West wanted to keep its arms factories running by fanning the differences among the Muslim countries and creating dissent among them.

He said that Pakistan as the sole nuclear power of the Muslim world, should play its role for peace and rapprochement among the brother states in accordance with the Quranic teachings.

The JI chief said that the peace and stability of the Gulf states was the peace and stability of Pakistan. He said that this country should learn a lesson from the conflicts between Iraq, Iran and Kuwait. He said that Pakistan should not remain a silent spectator in the Saudi Arabia-Qatar conflict but should play the role of a peace maker and a sympathizer.
