Tariq Fatemi and Rao Tahseen removed on “Dawn Leaks”

Lahore : The federal government has removed Tariq Fatemi and Rao Tahseen on the charges of involvement in “Dawn Leaks”.Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has given approval of the recommendations of inquiry committee .

The matter of Cyril Almeida and Zafar Abbas would be sent to APNS which will design a code of conduct regarding the news of security matters.

Tariq Fatemi , Special Assistant to Prime Minister and Rao Tahseen ,Principal Information Officer would be removed.

Fawad Hassan Fawad ,Principal Secretary to Prime Minister has issued a notification in this regard.

DG ISPR Major General Asif Ghafoor has rejected the report and tweeted that ” Notification on Dawn Leaks is incomplete and not in the line with recommendations of Inquiry Board” .

Interior Minister Ch Nisar Ali Khan has expressed displeasure on DG ISPR tweet and said that ” tweets are fatal for democracy and the system”.Solving issues with tweets is unfortunate,he added.
