Sport Board Punjab teams camps for Quaid-e-Azam Games start

Lahore : Sports Board Punjab has set up camps for 28 male and female related games at Nishtar Park Sports Complex in respect of the upcoming 2nd Inter-Provincial Quaid-e-Azam Games, in which players from every district of Punjab are participating in full swing.

Director General Sports Punjab Zulfiqar Ahmad Ghumman issued a directive to the coaches to provide the finest training to the players attending the camps. Players received training from the coaches in two separate morning and evening sessions at the gymnasium hall of Nishtar Park Sports Complex, Punjab Stadium, Swimming Pool, National Hockey Stadium and Tennis Court.

In addition to training, the players were also put through a physical exercise regime at the camps. Camps for judo, karate, taekwondo, wrestling, badminton, table tennis, lawn tennis and wushu were set up at gymnasium hall, whereas volleyball and football practice sessions were held at Punjab Stadium.

Camps for hockey at National Hockey Stadium, athletics at WAPDA Sports Complex, boxing at Government Islamia College Civil Lines, and netball and weightlifting at the old Hailey College Punjab University are underway. Swimming practice sessions were carried out at the state-of-the-art swimming pool of the Sports Board Punjab. Practice and training for the 28 male and female games will be provided in two morning and evening sessions at the camps.
