First payment of Textile package would be given in next few days : Khurram Dastgir

Lahore : Federal Minister for Commerce, Engr. Khurram Dastgir Khan on Wednesday revealed that first payment of Textile package would be given in next few days as State Bank of Pakistan had issued a circular in this regard.

Talking to media men here at a local hotel, he said there are so many challenges being faced by the country but today’s Pakistan is more peaceful and prosperous.
Khurram said there is another good news for business community that Pakistan has gotten place in top ten countries which made business reforms.
“The credit goes to the government for taking so many positive steps for the welfare of business community”, he added.
The minister said that more foreign investment in coming in Pakistan after CPEC but still so many challenges are ahead to face to get the destination and the government is fully committed and ready to boost business in the country.
To a question, he said that Lahore blast is a tragic incident for the nation which showed Pakistan is still facing the challenge of terrorism, this is long and generational war but today’s Pakistan is more safe and peaceful than of 2013.
After terrorism, energy issue was the second challenge for the government, but he said that government is fighting against these issues in a befitting manner and achieving successes in both the fields, as situation is better today and the people are feeling as well.
To another question, Khurram said that industry enjoyed electricity 24 hours a day even during the recent loadshedding wave and he added that same attitude would be shown towards industry in future.
