Elite Force Punjab services in war on terrorism is commendable : Col. ® Ayub Gadhi

Lahore : Provincial minister for Counter Terrorism Col. ® Ayub Gadhi has said that the Elite Force of Punjab had always remained at front against terrorism in Punjab by showing remarkable professional skill and vigour.

He was addressing 18^th Passing out parade of Elite Force at the Police Training School here on Tuesday.

The Commandant Elite Force, higher officers and parliamentarians were also present in the ceremony. The minister assured that deficiencies found in the Elite Force at district level would be fulfilled in order to make it more effective and powerful force against terrorism.

He said “Elite Force has always played exemplary role to save the citizens from terrorism and make this country peaceful. It has attained a respectable place among the law enforcing agencies by virtue of its achievements in just 19 years. The whole nation feels pride on seeing towards these high aimed officers who are always ready to scarify their lives for a good cause. I salute to the new incumbents and hope that they will maintain the respectful position of Elite force as usual.”

The minister also presented prizes and shields to the officers who performed well during the training.
