Lahore : A female student who burnt in her college bonfire on 22nd January 2017 , succumbed to injuries at CMH.
The Punjab Higher Education Minister Syed Raza Ali Gillani has condoled the death of a private college student of Okara namely Ms. Abida Nasrullah who suffered burns in her college bonfire incident fortnight ago and succumbed to burns on Sunday.
In his condolence message, he has prayed to Almighty Allah to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss with equanimity.
The minister has ordered to hold enquiry of the incident to ensure that no such incident could occur in future.
Eight students of a private college suffered burn injuries during a bonfire at college.
Girls from first- and second-year classes were enjoying a bonfire at the college when clothes of some of them standing close caught fire. Those who suffered burn injuries were identified as Kainat, Jannat, Saadia, Amna, Kinza, Naila, Saman and Abida.
