Staff should not leave their duty unless next shift join them : Prof.Ghiyas

Lahore : General Hospital Administration has shifted all the wards relating neuro surgery and neurology to newly constructed Punjab Institute of Neuro-Sciences and the Principal Prof.Ghiyas-un-Nabi Tayyab has entrusted administrative responsibilities of PINS to Medical Superintendent Lahore General Hospital.

The principal ordered MS LGH to post administrative doctors in all the three shifts separately at PINS for effective monitoring of performance and punctuality of employees in order to ensure provision of medical facilities to patients.

The Principal issued these directions after conducting a inspection to Punjab Institute of Neuro-Sciences. He was accompanied by MS Dr. Ghulam Sabir and other administrative doctors.

The Principal expressed his annoyance over the display of unnecessary papers at nursing counters. He also said that staff should not leave their duty unless staff of next shift joins them. He also directed to ensure one patient- one attendant policy while staff must display their official cards on their uniform.

The Principal also warned the security guards in connection with ensuring service lane encroachment free. He said on this occasion that PINS would be a best neuro treatment center not only in Pakistan but also in the region in future.
