Gawala Mafia to restrain from selling of adulterated milk : Bilal Yasin

Lahore : Provincial Minister for Food Bilal Yasin has warned owners of dairy farms and Gawala Mafia to restrain from selling of mixed, adulterated and unhygienic milk in Punjab. He said that culprits involve in this business will be send behind the bar. He said that food authority has deputed teams in entrance and existing points of major cities to inspect the supply of milk to cities.

He expressed these views while talking to media during an early morning operation against Gawala Mafia here Gajomata Lahore today. Bilal Yasin said that there is no space in Punjab for such people who are involve in selling of unhygienic milk.

Minister checked thousands of liter milk and wasted 3000 liter milk over mixing of chemicals. On this occasion he said that milk is being supply to big cities from Okara, Sahiwal and Kasur. Government has directed food authority to speed up operations against Mafia without any discrimination.

Director operations and team of food authority were accompanying the Minister during raid.
